WHOMCHAT PRIVACY POLICY
Effective: July 1, 2024
Last Updated: July 23, 2024
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share your personal information through our services. It is important that you read this entire policy, but here is a summary to get you started:
● We prioritize privacy
We are dedicated to creating online spaces where individuals can communicate, socialize, and have a good time with friends. Respecting user privacy is a fundamental aspect of our operations.
● We do not sell your personal information
Our business model revolves around subscriptions and paid products, not the sale of personal information to third parties.
● We collect only necessary information
We only require information essential for creating and maintaining accounts, providing services, fulfilling user commitments, and complying with legal obligations. Any additional information is optional.
● Safety is a top priority
Our Trust and Safety team works diligently to maintain a safe community. We also utilize information to identify violations of our Community Guidelines and prevent the distribution of harmful content through our services.
Whomchat is a platform designed for socializing, networking, and having fun with friends online. We created Whomchat to be the premier destination for online social interactions, whether you are part of a club, social group, or simply a group of friends looking to connect.
Our “services'' encompass the Whomchat app, accessible on various devices such as mobile, web, desktop, or even connected home appliances in the future. Additionally, our services include a website, blog, and support center, and may involve information collection through surveys, emails, and social media platforms. Any additional products developed by us will also be included under our services.
Users have the ability to contribute content to the services through various means, including direct messages and public spaces. Content shared in public spaces may be accessed by a wide audience, including unknown individuals. We may utilize content posted in public spaces to enhance our services, develop new features, and improve safety measures. This may include features to facilitate content moderation and identify harmful content. We strive to inform users of the type of space they are in, although we do not control where invite links are shared or the permissions set by individuals.. Users should exercise caution when using our services and choose spaces and follow links that align with their preferences.
Our revenue is generated through paid subscriptions and the sale of digital (and occasionally physical) goods, not through the sale of personal information to third parties.
